Job Summary: The role aims to ensure that the care delivered by Careline Lifestyles meets the specified needs of each person we support and exceeds both regulatory and contractual standards.  The role of the Quality and Compliance Officer is to audit service provision, implement and monitor service action plans making full use of our compliance software and support each of our Home Managers on a pathway to achieving outstanding care delivery and outcomes for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a programme of quality audits across the year as directed by the Director of Operations (Nominated Individual)
  • Undertake audits across varying timeframes, for example early mornings, evenings, day-time and weekends
  • Achieve allocated number of annual audits as agreed with the Director of Operations (Nominated Individual)
  • Complete audit documentation accurately and in a timely manner making full use of our compliance software
  • Support Home Managers to achieve regulatory and contractual standards
  • Assist the Head of Care Outcomes to support to our Director of Operations (Nominated Individual) in organising and carrying out our weekly Governance Review Meeting by providing audit reports for that meeting and data to monitor treads across all services
  • Manager cascade alerts across all services
  • Manage own time and travel in the most cost effective and productive manner

  • Have a detailed understanding of outcome focussed service provision

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A flexible approach to work
  • A car driver is essential for this role as is the ability to undertake audits at varying times for example early mornings, evenings, day-time and weekends.
