Continued Growth for Careline Lifestyles
Careline Lifestyles is expanding its care home provision by developing a specialist, state of the art care facility in Hartlepool that will offer vulnerable adults a unique model of care and support in the area.
Hart Lodge will provide specialist residential and nursing care to adults who have acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, mental health needs, complex learning and physical disabilities, when it opens on Jones Road in Hartlepool in 11 months.
The new facility will allow people who are currently supported outside of the area, due to a lack of local provision, to return to Hartlepool and be nearer their families.
The development on Jones Road, Hartlepool, is the latest addition to the portfolio of 10 specialist care facilities currently owned and operated by Careline Lifestyles across the North East. The home is designed by Newcastle based architects Space and delivered by Brunel Spire.
Rahul Sharma, Managing Director of Careline Lifestyles, said: “What we will be providing at Hart Lodge is a model of care where the service users who have been hospitalised for a traumatic brain injury or mental health needs can be transferred to the home and receive the necessary care and support, what we term as a “Transitional Pathway.”
“The environment can help individuals significantly. In some cases the improvement is so great that they may be able to return to community living, having been supported and encouraged to develop daily living skills.”
Careline Lifestyles is committed to providing quality services to the people of the North East, and this unique facility allows users to receive the very specialised treatment they need without travelling far from Hartlepool.
The facility will be staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of Nurses (RNLDs, RGNs, RMNs), Occupational Therapists, Behavioural Analysts, Physiotherapists and specially trained support workers. Careline Lifestyles has made a commitment to employ local people and the company will be looking to fill a significant number of roles at Hart Lodge, both during the construction phase and when the home is up and running.
