British Army visit Careline Lifetstyles

We are always looking for new and innovitive opportunities for our service users to be involved in appropriate community based activities.  We have just developed links with the armed forces Youth Engagement Officer Sergeant Major Mark Hill.  Sergeant Major Hill has agreed to collaborate with our Therapeutic Services Team and provide a programme of interactive team building and problem solving activities for service users within locally based Territorial Army sites.

The first programme of activities will be held at the TA base in Debden Gardens Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne for a selected group of up to 12 young people from our St Stephens Court, Lanchester Court and Deneside Court services.

Careline Lifestyles Head of Theraputic Services, Amanda Knight said: The individuals will be supported by our therapy and care staff to attend these sessions where they will experience a range of different focused,  group activities designed to motivate them to develop a range of problem solving and communication skills.
